North Bend Residents Make Sure Your Vote Was Counted
Three of our key races in North Bend and the North Bend ESD are still incredibly close:
DeAnne Wiedenmann leads by just 1.27% — that's only 45 votes
Julie Hale leads by 1.62% — just 58 votes
Ezra Schierman is up in Coos County, but down overall by 1.26% — only 41 votes
In an election this close, every single vote matters — and unfortunately, not every vote has been counted yet.
Out of 13,679 ballots returned in Coos County, only 13,328 were counted. That means 351 ballots were rejected, most likely due to missing or mismatched signatures.
If your ballot was rejected, the County Clerk will mail you a notice to the same address you receive your ballot. But don’t wait!

If your ballot wasn’t counted, contact the Coos County Clerk immediately to fix the issue.
