01 — Reach Out To Voters
Direct conversations with voters are among the most effective ways to increase turnout and elect leaders who share our values. Canvassing door to door makes a powerful difference, but there are many other ways to help—including phone banking, writing postcards, sending letters, and sharing information on social media.
Whether you can volunteer once or stay involved throughout the year, your time can help us reach more voters across Coos County.

02 — Attend Government Meetings
Local decisions have a direct impact on our schools, public services, neighborhoods, and quality of life. By attending meetings, taking notes, offering public comment, and reporting back to the community, we can promote transparency and hold local officials accountable.

03 — Show Up In Our Community
The Coos County Democrats are committed to being visible, active, and consistent members of our community. By showing up and participating, we demonstrate who we are, what we value, and our commitment to Coos County.
We participate in rallies on the first and third Saturdays of each month from noon to 2:00 p.m. at the Coos Bay Boardwalk and outside Ray’s Food Place in Bandon.
We also march in community parades, including the Coquille River Days Festival, Bandon’s Fourth of July Parade, and the Bandon Cranberry Festival. Throughout the year, we host information tables at events such as White Cedar Days in Powers, the Coos County Fair in Myrtle Point, Pride in the Park, and the Bay Area Fun Festival in Coos Bay.
The more, the merrier. These events are a great way to meet like-minded people, share our values, and show our neighbors that Democrats are active, proud, and present throughout Coos County.

04 — Join a Caucus, a Committee or Even Become an Official Voting Member of Our Party
We are always looking for people who are ready to get involved and take on leadership roles in our local party.
Join one of our three caucuses—Health Care, Environmental, or Advocacy—and make a difference on the issues you care about. Serve on our Communications Committee and help us share our message, promote events and actions, and keep our community informed.
You can also become a Precinct Committee Person (PCP), an official voting member of the Coos County Democratic Party. PCPs help shape our leadership, endorsements, resolutions, priorities, and overall direction.

January to October: Fourth Tuesday of each month.
Time: Guest Speakers start at 5:00 PM, Business meeting starts at 5:30 PM.
Location: Coos Bay Public Library
November: Meeting is on the third Tuesday of the month.
December: No meeting.
