What is a general strike?

What is the best way to move democracy forward? It is not a revolution with weapons and combat, but it is a general strike.

A general strike is when at least 3.5% of the population joins together to not go to work and not purchase unnecessary items.

Why 3.5%? Because history shows that is all that is needed to halt production and shutter business income. In 2024 America had a population of 340 Million people. 3.5% of that is only 11.6 Million.

Has this happened before?

Yes! In fact in Europe it happens all the time. America used to have a history of strikes but then union busting became popular and was idealized.
