Coos County Clerk

  • Julie Brecke

Hello! I’m Julie Brecke, and I’m your Coos County Clerk and I would like your vote for reelection in the Primary. I’ve strived to maintain the highest level of integrity, while conducting productive and efficient operations in both elections and recording. Coos County is my home, and I endeavor to protect the clerk’s office from partisan politics, and focus on doing the job without bias. I made an oath to follow the laws and policies, and I will continue to do so.  As clerk, I have run seven safe, secure elections and have been resourceful and responsive through budget cuts, in order to keep our offices accessible. If reelected, I will continue to run fair, transparent and accurate elections, where every eligible voter has a chance to cast their ballot and observe the process. Please allow me to continue to do this important work for our community.

Coos County Commissioner Seat 2

  • John Sweet

People are tired of politics that is all conflict and no responsibility. One of the things I value most is the trust of people who may not agree on every issue, but who do agree that Coos County needs serious, steady leadership.

Shaping our nation begins at home, here in our county. It has to be grounded, cooperative, and focused on results people can actually feel in their daily lives. That is the kind of leadership I have tried to offer, and I am thankful for those who recognize the value of working across lines to serve the whole community.
